State Coalition of Probation Organizations Endorses Rich Desmond for Supervisor
Sacramento, CA -- Rich Desmond, candidate for Sacramento County Supervisor District 3, announced today that his campaign has been endorsed by the State Coalition of Probation Organizations (SCOPO).
Brian Ronan, President of SCOPO, released the following statement:
"In the race for Sacramento County Board of Supervisor District 3, the State Coalition of Probation Organizations (SCOPO) formally endorses Candidate Rich Desmond. The Board of Directors has determined Mr. Desmond to be highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable about Public Safety issues facing Sacramento County, especially with regards to Probation's role of supervising offenders in the community. His dedication and commitment to the safety of his community has been evident through his extensive career as an officer with the California Highway Patrol. We strongly believe in his ability to continue to make Sacramento County a great place to live and look forward to working with him to achieve this outcome."
