The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs' Association Endorses Rich Desmond for County Supervisor

Sacramento, CA -- On Tuesday, the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs' Association, the largest law enforcement labor organization in Northern California, endorsed Rich Desmond in his campaign for Sacramento County Supervisor overseeing District 3.

"We are endorsing Rich Desmond for County Supervisor because he has the experience and ideologies that best support the mission of our membership," S.C.D.S.A. President Kevin Mickelson said. "Additionally, he will prioritize quality of life issues that negatively affect those living in the County. He understands the homeless problem needs a multi-faceted solution, and we are eager to work with him to be a part of that solution."

"As a law enforcement officer and lifelong Sacramento County resident, I am extremely proud, both personally and professionally, to earn the endorsement of the Deputy Sheriffs' Association," Rich Desmond said. "As a supervisor, I will be committed to providing our law enforcement officers with the tools and training they need to keep us safe. I look forward to working with the D.S.A. in collaboration with service providers, community groups, business owners, and others to compassionately but effectively get our homeless population the medical treatment, housing, and job training they need."
